This little cutie was a gift from my wonderful bestie in Switzerland! She ordered Coral Reef mantises Opal and Amber, and this pet doll was a special add-on promotion. The stylization of this doll is so precious! I love her little buggy arms which attach by magnet. Her wings slot into the back of her head, and probably better to fix it with hot glue or something, since putty is not quite enough. The wings also unbalance her from sitting, so I plan to only put them after getting her a stand.

About her name. Originally, my friend ordered the blank Mantis Pet, but they forgot to send it with her order. So they ended up sending a painted one. The red color scheme reminded me of a shrimp, so I named her Popcorn, as in popcorn shrimp!

She's around YOSD height, so I'm thinking some Blythe dresses might fit her. I will update this as soon as I tried some on her!

My beautiful Popcorn just arrived from Switzerland, along with some delicious Swiss chocolates! ^^

I put this cute headdress together for her with some ribbons, beaded trim, thread and hot glue. She can't wear wigs, so I thought I could make it look like she has twintails with ribbon.
